It’s Wednesday! The middle of the week. I know it can be hard sometimes in the mid-week muddle to get motivated to do those things you know you need to do (I struggle with this too! )
So here’s a quick way to get motivated…
It’s not based on having the right mindset or knowing your ‘why’ (which I’m a big fan of!)
It’s something quick and practical you can do right now.
Find something to do that is small.
Something that is simple and easy and will take no more than 5-10 minutes max to do.
For example, if you work in an office you could answer an email. Or organize a pile on your desk.
If you work from home, like I do, you might put a pile of laundry in the washing machine. Or, something I’m about to do, tackle the pile of dishes on our kitchen counter! 😜
Whatever it is, make sure it’s simple, easy and won’t take long to do.
Action results in more action.
Just doing something, anything, can get you moving.
That movement can be the momentum you need to go do that bigger thing you know you need to do.
And on that note, I have a pile of dishes to wash 😂.
